Downtown Pets is for those who love the outdoors and dogs. You get to experience both of those things here and if you buy into our philosophies of safely walking dogs and being detail oriented, you will not find someone hanging over your back. We are looking for responsible, mature persons who do not need to be micromanaged.

Walkers are paid per dog so there is an incentive to work. Pay ranges from $400 to $900 (before taxes) a week and we offer part-time and full-time dog walking and part-time dog running routes.

Requirements - Prospective walkers must be available Monday through Friday, at the same time frames every day and for a minimum of 6 months. You need to be interested in dog training or willing to learn because we walk dogs professionaly. You must have a cell phone (need to be reachable), recently new and good walking sneakers (we recommend New Balance) and you need to be consistenet on your schedule (can't have frequent days off, tryouts during the day, etc.).
