dogs trained to sniff out bedbugs:

Many dogs have an amazing sense of smell and to this point dogs have been trained to detect anything from bombs to drugs and humans. You can now add bedbugs to that list according to researchers at the University of Florida in Gainesville. "Properly trained dogs can assist an inspector by locating the odor of live bedbugs or viable eggs and ignoring evidence of past infestations", handler Jose "Pepe" Peruyero told Discovery News.
