Dog Fighting was the topic of interest on last nights HBO Sports with Bryant Gumbel and dog fighting will also be spotlighted on this coming Saturdays Real Sports with Bob Costas on HBO too. One of the most harrowing images was of the dogs who are forced / kidnapped into being practice for the training dogs. Suffice is to say most of these dogs do not make it out alive. It was tough to watch but it's great to see the spotlight finally on the underground slave trade of dog fighting and hopefully it will never go away.
