NYC dog barking laws...

Hi, Does anyone know about NYC dog barking laws? Is there a certain amount of time a dog can bark?
And I was trying to find some good ways to get my dog to stop barking when I'm not home. THANKS :)

Ball and Food Posessive Dogs

Ball and Food Posessive Dogs

My dog is fine at the dog run, unless another dog gets near his ball
and then he tries to attack them.Is there anything that can be done
about this? Or do I simply need to keep him away. Any advice
would be helpful.

Spay & Neutering

If you love animals this quite honestly is a cause you have to support. Animal populations are controlled more by spay and neutering than by euthanasia and this is "a proven fact". You should support groups who offer low cost spay and neutering and if you know an animal in the building or on the street, who isn't fixed, try and help them get it done.

Aggressive Dogs

I've always heard that you should never play tug of war with aggressive dogs. But recently I've heard of some people who have taken the opposite approach. They play tug of war with an aggressive dog before they leave the apartment and this, they say, has calmed or tired that biting instinct in their dog. This coupled with lots of excersise and training seems to be a good route for some people. Any comments?
